Jack Ewing

Jack Ewing has been working as a journalist in Germany since 1994, including more than a decade as a correspondent at BusinessWeek magazine. Jack joined The New York Times in January 2010 as a business and economics writer based in Frankfurt, a beat that includes the European car industry.
Earlier in his career Jack Ewing worked at The Hartford Courant covering legal affairs and state politics. He has a master’s degree in history from Trinity College in Hartford. His first book, Germany’s Economic Renaissance: Lessons for America, was published in 2014 by Palgrave Macmillan. Jack currently lives in Germany.
