Deena Goldstone’s stories have been praised by novelist Valerie Martin who says “Goldstone’s Chekhovian sensitivity to her characters’ weaknesses and strengths makes for breathtaking reading.” A collection of her stories, Tell Me One Thing, was published by Nan A. Talese/Doubleday in 2014. Goldstone, a screenwriter, resides in Los Angeles. SURPRISE ME is her first novel.
